The Glen Innes Arts Council Dance Spectacular is set to go ahead this week.
Run as a Youth Arts Event involving dancers of all ages and singer-songwriter Kathryn Luxford, organisers said this was likely to be the only major performance for many of those involved.
"Thanks to COVID-19, this is the only performance of the year for most, so they are all excited to take to the stage with everything from jazz, hip hop and lyrical to Broadway and Isis Wings," a spokesperson said.
GIHS dancers and In2Dance members will be part of the performances. Public performances will run on Wednesday and Thursday, each starting at 7pm and a second show on Thursday at 10pm at the Chapel Theatre.
There will also be a senior performance during the Christmas Markets next Thursday in the town square.
