Craig has been working on his green 1972 HQ Holden for the past eight years. When he drove it into the shed it was white, and the day he drove it out a month ago, the vehicle which he had built himself was green.
Among the other Glen Innes winners were David Townsend, who won top hotrod with Red Tudor, and Trevor and Leanne Parker who took home the prize for top paint for their Subaru custom paintwork.
Shannons Choice went to Rick Whitla for his 1989 Yellow Fiat Bambino.
Proceeds from the 2017 & 2018 car show accumulated to more than $3000 and car show organisers were proud to present $1500 each to Camp Quality and Glen Innes VRA
Mike Brewer, representing the VRA, was over the moon and said the donation will go towards purchasing necessary lighting.
Natasha from Camp Quality was also very grateful and says it will help go towards helping make life for children living with cancer a little easier.
Cheques were presented by Helen O’Brien and Nic Ward on behalf of Kerrie Floyd Memorial Car Show.
The car show was sponsored by Grey Street Spare Parts, Floyds Transport and Shannons insurance.
Next year's car show will be held on November 2, 2019.
