A Tenterfield woman is recovering from a stabbing on the weekend, police say.

Police responded at 1.40pm on Saturday to a report of a stabbing in High street Tenterfield.
They found a 20 year old women at the residential address who had allegedly suffered a wound to her leg.
A 22 year old man was arrested at the house and charged with reckless wounding.
Meanwhile police have issued a warning to motorists to be cautious on the region's highways after a driver rolled their car avoiding a kangaroo on the weekend.
The motorist was driving at about 4.25pm on Saturday near the Glen Legh and Miller's Road intersection when they swerved to avoid the animal.
Their car rolled before colliding with a boundary fence and sustained serious damage in the accident - it was later towed from the scene. The driver was sent to the Armidale regional hospital for treatment.
Police warned drivers to be cautious of wildlife on the road given the end of winter. Drivers should drive to the conditions of the road, they say.
Police have charged a motorist who another alleged car accident on the intersection of Grafton and Grey streets.
The police responded to the accident around 3.35pm on Sunday September 22, finding a Holden Commodore and a White Mitsubishi dual-cab Triton had collided. Both cars were later towed from the scene.
One of the drivers was hospitalised with minor injuries.
Police have issued an infringement notice to the other driver for failing to give way at the intersection.
