A 60 year old man was hospitalised after a motorbike crash near Emmaville on Saturday.

The Glen Innes man lost control while driving on Emmaville road up a hill 60 kilometres south of the town, police said.
The man failed navigate a right hand bend while driving his Ducati motorbike, drove onto loose gravel, lost control and crashed at about 2.10pm on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene. He was sent to Glen Innes hospital with a suspected fractured rib and pelvic injuries.
He was assessed as in urgent need of higher level care, according to a Westpac Helicopter spokesperson.
The helicopter was already at the Glen Innes hospital - it flew him to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
