As a thank you to the staff and residents at Glenwood Gardens who have been doing it tough during the COVID-19 lockdown The Strawberry Patch hosted a feel good day to lift everyone's spirits last month.
On Wednesday, September 30 Cecily from the Strawberry Patch brought her bus along filled with treats of strawberries and milkshakes. Additionally they brought some friendly animals including two guinea pigs and a piglet named Doris for the residents to play with for the day.
Glenwood Gardens lifestyle officer Connie Doust said the residents and staff both appreciated and loved the day we will be having more days like this in the upcoming warmer months.
"It was a wonderful day for all of the residents and staff, we are looking forward to having many more days like this in the future," Connie said.
