Lamarre-Condon was not required to attend Sydney Downing Centre on April 23 with the hearing dealing with a previous bail application.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Sharon Freund formerly denied the application.
Lamarre-Condon's lawyer John Walford told the court his client had only received a partial brief of evidence from NSW police.
Speaking outside court Mr Walford said he wasn't sure how his client would plead but said he is "okay".
"It can be very tough for him at the moment but it's tough for everyone," Mr Walford said.
Lamarre-Condon remains in custody at Silverwater Prison with the case adjourned until June 18.
The charges
Lamarre-Condon was charged with two counts of murder of former Ten reporter Jesse Baird, 26, and Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, 29 in Sydney on February 19, in Mr Baird's Paddington home.
Lamarre-Condon was a serving police constable at the time of the alleged murders and is accused of using his police firearm to kill the couple before allegedly disposing of their bodies at a rural property at Bungonia, two hours southwest of Sydney.
Lamarre-Condon has been officially removed from NSW Police.
Police allege Lamarre-Condon displayed an "escalating" pattern of stalking Mr Baird before he allegedly carried out the double murders.
Following his arrest on February 23, Lamarre-Condon allegedly provided investigators information that led to the discovery of the men's bodies at a rural property.
