Ms Higgins' case was before the court as Senator Linda Reynolds sought information about a trust set up by her former staffer in the lead-up to her defamation action against the couple.
Mr Zwier asked to reschedule Ms Higgins' court date from May 30 to a later date and Justice Peter Quinlan agreed to accommodate the request.
The hearing has been rescheduled to July 17.
The couple were engaged on New Year's Eve 2022 when Mr Sharaz got down on one knee at Cape Byron lighthouse in Byron Bay NSW.
The couple moved to France in December 2023 and shared a snapshot of their provincial life in January.

In a post to social media after the proposal Mr Sharaz said "I didn't want to enter another year without you knowing that I want to spend all my years with you ... I'm the luckiest guy in the world".
