Police are investigating multiple shoplifting incidents that have occurred at the local Beer Wine Spirits retail outlet.

On June 7 police received a number of reports of shoplifting offences by a male suspect. The suspect is in his 40s between 180 and 185 centimetres tall with a fair complexion, a medium build and brown hair.
A further seven incidents of shoplifting by a female suspect at the BWS are also being investigated by police. The suspect is described as in her mid-20s with a medium complexion, short stature and dark hair.
A tradesman’s vehicle was broken into at the Glen Innes High School between 4.50 pm on Thursday, June 2, and 10 am Friday, June 3. Access was gained to locked toolboxes in the vehicle and a large quantity of power tools and other tradesman’s equipment was stolen.
A break and enter occurred between one pm Monday, June 6, and late Wednesday afternoon at Ferguson Street Glen Innes. The premises were ransacked and a rear shed was broken into. A number of DVD’s and a trail bike were stolen.
A break and enter occurred between one pm and eight pm on Saturday, June 4, at Macquarie Street were an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
A house in Cameron Lane was broken into between 8.45 and one pm on Tuesday, June 7; the owners reported no property was missing.
A break and enter occurred at a house in Coronation Avenue on Tuesday, June 7 between 12 pm and 4.20 pm. An unknown person gained entry through a locked door and caused damage to the house, but nothing was stolen.

Courts
A 50-year-old unemployed man will appear at the Glen Innes local court on July 12 on charges of possessing prohibited drug and breaching an apprehended violence order.
An 18-year-old Glen Innes male was charged on May 28 with a number of traffic offences including not stopping after a police pursuit and will appear at the Glen Innes local court this week.
A 26-year-old unemployed Glen Innes male was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, common assault and use a carriage service to harass and will appear Glen Innes court on June 17.
