On a weekend when matches were washed out across the region, the NEC Colts versus Emmaville game was played, with the undefeated hosts losing their first match for the summer.
The last time the two sides played each other, the match was won easily by Emmaville.
This time the match came down to the second last over when the NEC Colts managed to snag the win.
"The last time we played them they bowled us out for 41, so it was good to only lose three wickets and get a victory,” captain Nathan Purvis said.
"Jeff Butterworth scored more than 50 runs, I scored 20.”
