Luke Mepham 20 stuck it out with Jillet as the Kings battled to 7-125 after 20 overs. Luke Hodgson 2-15 and Jack Symons’ 2-13 were the pick of the bowlers for the reigning premiers.
The Emmaville batters took to the crease and lost Andrew Hodgson early for 5 and that's where the wickets ended for Kings.
Luke Hodgson 67 no and Jack Symons 46 no capped off an excellent game for the two young guns.

In the other game, Colts were far too strong for the Cavaliers.
Colts won the toss and chose to bat with Ritesh Shekhawat continuing his great form being dismissed by a fantastic inswinger by Cavaliers new comer and Young gun Braiden Wilkins for 45. Matt Campion 43 and Tom Benton 31no continued to attack the Cavaliers bowlers.
Bowling for the Cavaliers saw Braiden Wilkins 2-33 off 4 overs and Nigel Sharman took 1-35 off his four.
Cavaliers openers took to the crease with captain Greg Wilkins 33 going on the attack from the outset. Wilkins took the long handle to the Colts bowlers getting his team on the front foot before a Matt Campion-inswinger trapped him in front when the score was 45.
Opener Codey Guise, 20, was really the only other batter to bother the scorers.
