Glen Innes came up against a strong Moree club on Saturday for their Beanies for Brain Cancer round. Charlie Sutton donated all new registered players a beanie from the Mark Hughes Foundation.

“Charlie is a great supporter of Minor League and loves to see the kids playing footy,” Glen Innes minor league president Adrian Bruce said.
“He once again has been very generous to minor league and we, the committee and players are very thankful for his generousity.
“The day was fantastic, the kids love wearing their beanies and it made the day a bit of fun.
“They ran out on the field with their beanies on and wore them around all day, there was a amount of money raised which will be sent off to the Mark Hughes foundation to go towards research for brain cancer.”
