Kayne Campbell, Lucas Tait, Mitchell Duddy, Jack Hillier and Ryan McIntyre, along with some dedicated parents, made the trip to Armidale every week to play in the junior competition and their persistence paid off.
The five took the field for the Hillgrove Brumbies in the under 14s decider on March 23 against CSC.
The Brumbies stepped up to bat first and scored 102.
Hillier and Duddy opened the batting with Hillier scoring 17.
Tait finished on six not out while McIntyre ended up with nine not out.
With the ball, Campbell starred finishing on 4-4 from three overs.
Duddy and Hillier both earned a wicket each as the CSC side was kept to 8-80, handing the Brumbies the trophy win.
