The 'trash and treasure' shed is set to start selling recyclable donated items from June 1. The buy-back shop will sell items left at the landfill which are of good quality, and will be open seven days during business hours.
The official opening is set for June 1 at 11.30am, with mayor Carol Sparks cutting the metaphorical ribbon on what is expected to be a shopping feeding frenzy in the as-yet full shed.
A council media release boasts they have for sale household items, furniture, paintings, motor gear, baby equipment, toys, gardening items and more, including some items that are as new.
