With the adjacent community hall under construction, the festivities spilled outside into the surrounding carpark and grass and into the main hall, with a pamper and flower show a first.
Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall opened the show just after 11, with music and other entertainment plus food trucks offering a distraction for the rest of the day.
