"Due to the devastating blow the Glen Innes community are facing this week we have decided to postpone Saturday's Country Halls Tour show until early next year," the Golden Guitar winner posted on social media.
She said a new date would be announced.
The concert was due to be held in Glen Innes Town Hall on Saturday night.
Lumsden and her band, The Thrillseekers, have been playing country halls for the last eight years.
The first country hall concert was held near her hometown in southern NSW, as a one-off eight years ago, following a flood when a lot of the halls were damaged and fences were washed away.
She headed home to put on free shows in the hall at Tallimba, near West Wyalong, where she had performed in school concerts as a child.
She performed for volunteers from the BlazeAid group, who were rebuilding fences in the area, and donations were collected at the show to go towards BlazeAid as well as fencing supplies.
But that one-off concert has become an annual tour.
"It's kept going, because every time we do it, people come up and say 'you've got to play this hall next time', and until all the halls run out I think we'll keep going," Lumsden said last year, when she played at Ben Lomond.

Glen Innes is set to host a travelling show by Golden Guitar winning musician Fanny Lumsden.
With a recent string of accolades including two ARIA nominations, two CMAA Golden Guitar Awards, a CMC Award and the AIR Best Independent Album of 2018 for her second record, Real Class Act, western NSW born and raised Fanny Lumsden is taking her music to the people, one small town at a time.
The musician's Country Halls Tour, which is set to cover 130 halls and 25,000 kilometres, will hit Glen Innes' town hall on Saturday November 16.
The tour is billed as helping raise money for "halls and community groups."
By the end of the tour, scheduled for February 2020, Lumsden and band the Prawn Stars, will have played 130 halls through regional Australia.
The first Country Halls tour, held in 2012 with three shows in the Riverina, raised money for charity Blazeaid.
