Played at King George Oval, RSM won the toss and opted to bat and started with promise.
Opening batsman Jakob Haines blasted 12 fours and a six before he departed on 64 off Nathan Matthews' bowling.
Fellow opener Steve De Gunst remained at the crease as when Matthews claimed his second wicket of RSM number three Mitchell Stewart for nine.
Luke Mepham snared the wicket of De Gunst for 41 before Glen's Jake Baker landed the first of his five-fa, dismissing Sean Walters leg-before-wicket for 24.
Then Glen Innes went on a roll.
Bradyn Campion bowled Alex Portass for 32.
Then Baker sent Warren Stewart packing in similar style for two and RSM were 6-191.
RSM didn't score another run before Baker had his third with Angus Harris caught on a duck.
They were stuck on 191 when Campion took his second wicket, that of Matt Hayward for five.
RSM progressed to 9-192 when Baker sent Rohan Guest for a duck.
Then he finished them off when he trapped Aaron Boon for two.
Glen needed 195 for the win and things began disastrously when opening batsman Harry Cooke was caught on a duck.
Matthews retired on three not out but that brought Tom Chard to the crease who went on a partnership with Dean Swaffer.
They reached 100 before Swaffer was sent back to the sheds with a knock of 53 including seven fours and two sixes.
Chard followed shortly after but that brought Joel Jackson to the crease.
Spurred on by the image of being clean bowled for a duck in the November 12 edition of the Glen Innes Examiner, Jackson belted 52 not out including seven fours and two sixes.
He remained at the crease along with Campion who finished on 32 not out as Glen Innes managed to claim a seven-wicket win.
They will be back at King George Oval this Saturday vying for their third victory in-a-row for their round eight match against Bundarra.
