The Friday night clash will be the opening match of the Super Rugby competition.
"I spent a bit of time on the farm which was good fun, helping dad out," he said.
But he is looking forward to getting back on the park.
"It's been a bit of a slog to be honest through the whole isolation period and now back at training, but we've finally got our competition sorted and I'm looking forward to getting up to Suncorp in a couple of weeks to play the Reds," he said.
"It was a bit of a stressful time when we were in isolation because for us we had the whole pay cut saga going on and that was hanging over our heads as well as no guarantees on the return to Super Rugby this year."
The match is due to start at 7.05pm and will be played at Suncorp Stadium.
