
Emergency services were called to a building fire at the Glen Innes Court House on Wednesday afternoon last week.
Glen Innes Fire and Rescue crews responded to a building fire at the Court House on Wednesday, January 13, at 3.37pm.
Crews shortly arrived on scene with no visible signs of fire. Firefighters carried out further investigation to find the Court room full of smoke.

The results of the initial investigations concluded that a burnt out ballast in a fluorescent light fitting was found to be the cause of the smoke.
Once the power was isolated the room was ventilated and given the all clear by Fire and Rescue.
Fortunately no court proceedings where interrupted as the Court was closed.
