The Group 19 junior rugby league competition took to the fields at Mead Park for a cluster day on Saturday.
Teams from the host club, Glen Innes Minor League, Moree, Bingara and Armidale made their way to the grounds for the round eight and nine clashes.

Under 7s
The Under 7s took home two wins on the weekend.
The first game was against Moree, Glen winning 40-16.
Braxtyn Ferris scoring three tries, with Luke Matthews crossing the line an amazing seven times.
Jett Mitchell showed his ball skills setting up tries and Zedekiah Levy had the crowd cheering as he carried the defence almost the length of the field.
Game two was against Bingara, with Glen again winning 36-20.
Braxtyn Ferris crossing the line for two tries, Luke Matthews and Hayden Dawson scored three tries each, and Matthew Smith crossed the line to add to the score.
Reef Ward, Joseph Voysey and Angus Smith all played amazing defensive games.
Under 9s
The Under 9s Magpies showed true sportsmanship in the first game against Bingara.
Four of the Magpies; Matty Pietsch, Darcy Husband, Charlie Hoskins and Jack Matthews put their hand up to help out Moree who were short.
The Magpies won 42-0.

The second game against Moree saw some amazing Rugby League played for U9s.
There was great passing between the team and unbelievable defence.
A special mention must go to Horatio Eastwood who saved numerous tries with his cover defence.

Under 11s
The under 11 Magpies had a win in their first game of the day against Bingara 34-8.

In their second game of the day against Moree they had another win 46-6.

U11 Coach Shad Bailey commented that he was "one proud coach".
Under 13s
The Under 13s had a first up game against Moree which ended in a 12-all draw.
The Magpies scored three tries to Moree's two but missed their conversions which proved costly along with some other opportunities when the ball was dropped with the line open.
The performance was clunky and slow but there were some backline movements attempted and progress with players trying some of the things being worked on at training.
Kylan Levy-Cutmore went well in his first game at fullback.
Tryscorers were Conner Grob, Laclan Munro and Harry Watt.
Two Referee points went to Emery Levy Blair.
The second game against Bingara was the Magpies best game of the season according to coach Hugh Eastwood.
"It seemed like Moree was a warm-up as against Bingara, the players played as a team with everyone contributing," he said.
"The forwards shared the ball around with Jock Baker, Jaxon Jarrett, George Anderson, Braelon Livermore and Toby Frendon really pushing forward.
"There was quicker play the balls.
"The halves combined well with Leo Eastwood and Emery Levy Blair mixing their running game with their ball distribution and making good decisions on which side to attack.
"The centres saw good ball with width to run.
"Dylan Chaffey used his voice well in organising defence.
"Will Wright provided great service from dummy half and made good choices.
"If we play like this every week we will go well."
The Magpies won 20-4.

Under 17s
The Under 17s had an impressive game against Armidale.
Kaleb Hope had a great game, crossing the line three times, and kicking seven conversions.
Quinn Perkins crossed for his first try of the season with an impressive celebration.
Jack Grob played a huge part in getting the team set, and added two tries to the score count himself.
Harlon McLaren and Dequin Morgan both also scored against Armidale impressive defence.
Derek Boney and Mitchell Duddy also played well, contributing in both attack and defence.
Final score Glen 46 to Armidale 26.
Junior league tag
The Junior Magpies League Tag team played against Bingara again this week at home.
They are starting to click as a team with great defence efforts only letting in one try.
Final score was 28-4.

Intermediate League Tag Magpies had a win against Bingara 22-0

In the second game of the cluster day at Meade Park, Moree forfeited due to not enough players to field a team.
However the Magpies happily gave a few players to the Moree team so they could play a game.
