A huge day of rugby greeted Glen Innes locals with the Elks putting on a spectacular display on and off-the-field for Ladies' Day.
The Elks second and third grade teams hit the field against Tamworth as well as two women's sevens exhibition matches.
On the field, the Elks were beaten comprehensively 26-nil before the second grade team hit back 38-15.
"They got the points in third grade but we were more than happy with our performance in second grade and able to walk away with the biccies there," president Ben Emery said.
"[We] put on a good performance and showcase the sort of rugby we have been trying to play all year.

"It really gelled for us."
The combined score of the two women's exhibition matches was 82-nil in favour of the Glen girls.
They donned hot pink jerseys which were auctioned off later in the day.
"The girls had a bit of an exhibition match against Tamworth so we appreciate Tamworth for bringing their girls up and and to the Albies girls who were able to lend them a hand as well," Emery said.
"A lot of local families got around it.
"Pat from the RSL, he put on a bit of cash for some try celebrations in the second game as well so the girls were able to make a bit of money."
The Elks also held a handicap sprint.
Tamworth's front runner took the race out with Michael Miller in a close second.
Elks speedsters Brent Pedlow and Harry Brown went head-to-head 32 metres back in the field and eyes were on them to see who is Glen's fastest. Brown pipped Pedlow.
The Elks now turn their attention to hosting the Armidale Blues this Saturday.
The Blues were far too good in both games the last time they met and the Elks are aware they will have to be better.
"Blues have bested us a couple of times on their own turf. We will focus on second grade and show what Glen Innes rugby is all about," Emery said.
