It’s like path on which marks show where the sun is at different times of the year. On the longest day, it casts a shadow from high above; on the the shortest, in the middle of winter, it casts a shadow far from the tall stones.
Mayor Steve Toms explained the science using a laser pen and a globe.
Then he led a part of dignitaries in the pathway’s unveiling.
