Masonic Village plus the Chapel Theatre means a show

This week is Fashion Week in Sydney, with all the glamour of leggy models and extraordinary garments on parade.

It prompted the people who run the Masonic Village in Glen Innes (otherwise known as the Glenwood retirement home) to offer residents a similar chance to dress up.

The Chapel Theatre provided the garb, as organised by George Muckenschnabel, the president of the Glen Innes Arts Council which oversees the theatre.

He got access to the theatre’s costume room and borrowed the magnificent robes for the residents. They dressed up and seemed to enjoy it all.

The pictures tell the story.
