A host of stands from the RFS, the town brigade, scouts, schools were crowded with people.
There was face painting and a jumping castle.
One of the organisers, Angela Sisson, said there was “fun for all ages, entertainment by local musicians, with food and drinks provided.”
She added: “We thank all our volunteers and the generosity of donation that have allowed Saturday to be a free fun day for the whole family and look forward to sharing experiences with you on the day.”
