Around 10.40 this morning the truck ran off the road after it failed to navigate the corner of Sunnyside Platform Road and Shroders Road.
The prime mover skidded for 20 metres to a stop.
The 33 year old driver was left bleeding from the ear, with pain in his right scapula and right calf and with a 2.5 cm laceration to his forehead.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene and transported the man to Lismore Hospital in a stable condition.
The man was heading to Toowoomba at the time of the accident.
