"We did not race last year, so it was wonderful for the hard-working committee to see the result of all their efforts rewarded with a well-behaved crowd of enthusiastic race attendees," said Lindy Stevenson.
"The weather was kind, and the day went very smoothly with good horse racing, impressive fashions on the field and a fun band to listen to."
MP Adam Marshall was the judge for the Fashions on the Field and was impressed with the amount of effort people made with their outfits on this day.
"We had $3600 worth of prizes, and we were thrilled to present these to both repeat entrants and new faces," Ms Stevenson said.
" A big thank you to all who attended, and it is wonderful to see the Deepwater Races return and to be confident of them continuing into the future."
