A convoy of vehicles has taken goods donated locally to the Casino area, which was hit by floods three weeks ago.

Tiffany Dawson from the Telstra shop organised the appeal for donations to go onto the flood appeal in Casino and surrounding areas.
Glen Innes, and our local population as usual rallied, and the Telstra shop was soon overflowing with donations.

Judy Fraser and Val Cleaver spent two days shopping for goods with the donated money.
They were thankful for the generous donations they received from both Coles and Woolworths.
On Saturday morning, March 12, the convoy of vehicles left Glen Innes at 7am loaded to the hilt and headed to Casino.
The people in Casino could not believe the enormity of donations coming from a small town.
Thank you to everyone who donated and also those who worked so hard in organising and getting everything to come together in thank you to the drivers you're not only donated the time but also the fuel to drive to Casino and back.
