Mrs Williamson is a born and bred Glen Innes local with over 30 years experience in the rural industry. She said the move into business ownership was a natural progression.
"Nothing about my service will change - it will still be the one-on-one experience I've always provided to the people of Glen Innes. The only difference is that I'm now supported by all the extra tools and resources that come with a brand like Ray White," she said.
The town business will run alongside the Ray White Rural business owned by Geoff Hayes in the joint office at 188 Bourke Street, after a move from Grey street.
Ray White Rural Managing Director Stephen Nell congratulated Mrs Williamson on taking this next step into business ownership.
"Through her solid reputation, Vickie is a well-known and respected in the local community. This step into business ownership is an exciting time and we look forward to supporting her as she continues to succeed," he said.
Vickie said Ray White Glen Innes want to become the most trusted source of residential and rural real estate in town.
Ray White is Australia's biggest real estate company, with the rural branch selling over $1.4 billion worth of land a year.
