With the new school year kicking off in full swing Glen Innes Public School (GIPS) have welcomed in the new kindergarten class of 2021.
Two weeks into the new school year the class cohort have already made themselves at home at GIPS.

Deputy principal Nikki Lee is pleased with the way the new students have seamlessly joined into the school's environment.
"They have all settled beautifully and are really adjusting to full days at school," Ms Lee said.
"The classrooms have been buzzing with energy and excitement."
This year there are two straight kindergarten classes. The 2021 cohort is made up of 51 students, a slightly larger cohort than last year, however the school generally average 45 to 50 students per year.
