Eight of the region's public schools will receive $88,633 more money in needs based funding in 2020 than they did this year next year. The funding is issued as part of the Gonski education reforms.
Glen Innes Public school will get the most money, $948,117, with the Glen Innes High School getting the biggest increase, $67,382.
One school, the Glen Innes West Infants' school, will actually receive $4,454 less.
Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall said the 59 schools across the electorate will together receive $26 million more, a 9 per cent increase.
"The difference between pre-Gonski funding allocations just six years ago and today could not be starker," he said.
"Instead of celebrating almost $26 million in funding next year, without Gonski, our locals schools would only be receiving $9.5 million, or 63 per cent less."
All told local schools will receive $2,631,573, up $132,185.
